Description
The artwork was created by Giorgio Grosselle, a craftsman from Wave Murano Glass, in collaboration with Lara Grosselle, his daughter. The creative genius comes to life through letterings, glass scrap pieces, cuts, grinding of excess material, and small shards, which are then glued onto canvas to produce the finished piece. Everything is processed according to his whim to breathe life into unique objects: not only because of their artistic value but also due to the environmental significance, meaning giving new life and value to what would otherwise be discarded.
Various elements are fused using an electric “book” kiln inside a fireproof stone frame to enable them to merge into a single mass. All of this is then glued onto canvas and hand-painted by Giorgio and Lara Grosselle.
