MARIONI is a family story
The company, now in its third generation, was founded in Florence in 1966 by the founder Paolo Marioni's intuition. The workshop's initial artisanal character quickly evolved, and since the 1980s, it adopted its current corporate identity. Starting from ceramic materials, the company gradually expanded its interior accessories lines, paying special attention to color combinations, finishes, and decorations. Their objects are linked to creative detail and manual craftsmanship.
After Paolo's premature death in 1992, his son Simone took over the company and led its development and expansion into international markets.
This was the time of the launch of the Cultura d’Arredo collection, which presents an extraordinary combination of ceramic/fabric and signals success through precise market positioning: Marioni offers its clients a range of luxurious products referencing the past, but with a touch of charm, reflecting the uniqueness, authenticity, and originality of “made in Italy”.
The 2000s brought consolidation of distribution worldwide and the beginning of an organizational and managerial evolution that has enabled the company to face new digital challenges, including the creation of its own archive of 3D models ready for AR/VR reality.
In 2018, Vittoria, the eldest daughter, joined the company as head of communication and quality, marking further generational evolution. In this way, the brand moves into the present with a wealth of fifty years of experience, where artisanal production and management concepts are shared with the most refined and demanding clients seeking entirely Italian luxury.
