MARIONI is a family story
The company, now in its third generation, was founded in Florence in 1966 by the visionary Paolo Marioni. The initial artisanal character of the workshop quickly evolved, and since the 1980s, it has adopted its current corporate identity. Starting from ceramic materials, the company gradually expanded its interior accessories lines, paying particular attention to color combinations, finishes, and decorations. Their objects are characterized by creative details and manual craftsmanship.
After Paolo's premature death in 1992, his son Simone took over the brand and led its development and international expansion.
It was during this time that the Cultura d’Arredo collection was launched, showcasing an extraordinary combination of ceramic and fabric, and heralding success through precise market positioning: Marioni offers its clients a range of elegant products inspired by the past, with a touch of charm, reflecting the uniqueness, authenticity, and originality of “made in Italy”.
The 2000s brought consolidation of distribution across all countries and the beginning of an organizational and managerial evolution that prepared the company to face new digital challenges, culminating in the creation of its own archive of 3D models ready for AR/VR experiences.
In 2018, Vittoria, the founder’s daughter, joined the company as Head of Communications and Quality, marking further generational evolution. This way, the company combines fifty years of experience with a wealth of craftsmanship and management concepts, offering the most refined and demanding clients a fully Italian luxury experience.
