History – told by ourselves!

As children, we were placed in front of a lathe. Day after day, year after year, this lathe became a success in our workshop.

Today, we are known worldwide. But we haven't changed our way of working. We can't, that's just who we are. We love well-made things. Do you know what well-made means? It’s something you’ve thought about, designed, forged, and built right here, before your eyes.

These are products that don’t follow fleeting trends, that don’t change a hundred times, that last a hundred years. There are also those who buy art pieces worldwide, assemble them, and sell them as Made in Italy. Some pay designers to be fashionable. There are those who change their path with every gust of wind. We are not among them. Every day we wake up and look at its beauty. It is a mirror of the sky. We have ancient roots. We have hills and villages that inspire artists. For centuries.

Behind us, above us, on a granite promontory, is the Sanctuary of Madonna del Sasso. From here, you can enjoy a view of the entire lake, then Mottarone, the Alps, and in front of us, Sacro Monte di San Giulio with 20 chapels decorated with frescoes by Morazzone. Directly opposite, in the middle of the lake, is the Island with a Basilica built in the 4th century, rebuilt in the year 1000. It is important to surround ourselves with beauty and create beauty while protecting nature. We have always done this.

That’s why we meet many international certifications, including the most stringent in the world: certification for the USA and California, which require completely non-toxic products. The brass we love and use so much is lead-free. Our taps do not release nickel or zinc into the water you drink. Nicolazzi S.p.A. has been operating for over 50 years in the sanitary fittings industry, where it independently and innovatively tests and designs its products in accordance with international standards.

Adopting a Quality Management System was a decision by the Nicolazzi S.p.A. management board, becoming a fundamental strategic element in the company's development.

In fact, the management believes it is essential to demonstrate to external bodies (Customers, Suppliers, Certification Bodies, Institutional Authorities) its ability to consistently deliver products that fully meet:

- the requirements specified by the Customer

- the requirements set by Nicolazzi S.p.A.

- the requirements dictated by specific sector standards and/or mandatory regulations
