Founded in 1895 by David Berti, the family workshop seems to be completely detached from the trends that have dominated the industry over the years. Its core principle is a commitment to tradition, which is still cultivated by the fourth generation of these Italian artisans.
The founders strongly oppose the idea of mass production by unskilled labor, which they believe would lead to the loss of identity of the offered products. For this reason, their company's philosophy emphasizes careful personnel selection. However, this Italian family is not closed to change. Changes are welcome as long as they do not conflict with the existing idea and can withstand long-term quality tests.
Unlike others, the various stages of knife production are not carried out by specialized groups of workers but are often performed from start to finish by the same person. Thanks to this practice, each blade is completely unique.
The best quality materials are used in production — blades are made of steel, and handles are crafted from materials such as buffalo horn, bison horn, deer antler, or 'bosso' wood.
