Founded in 1895 by David Berti, the family workshop appears to be entirely independent of the trends that have emerged worldwide over the years. Its most important value is a commitment to tradition, which is still cultivated by the fourth generation of these Italian artisans.

The owners strongly oppose the idea of mass production by random labor forces, which they believe would lead to the loss of identity of the offered products. Therefore, their workshop’s work philosophy places a special emphasis on the employed staff. However, this does not mean that this Italian family is closed to innovations. They are highly desirable, provided they bring elements consistent with their traditional approach and can withstand years of quality testing.

Unlike competitors, the individual stages of knife production are not handled by specialized groups of workers but are often performed from start to finish by the same person. Thanks to this practice, each blade is completely unique.
They use the highest quality materials in production — blades are made of steel, and handles include materials such as buffalo, bison, deer horns, as well as 'bosso' wood.

The brand owners encourage that, despite being designed for everyday use, their knives should be treated with the proper respect, which guarantees their longevity. Each one is, after all, a small, unique artifact.
