Description
Thanks to the serrated edge, it easily cuts all kinds of small fruits.
The times we live in are marked by increased consumption. As a result, the items we use daily are deprived of any value other than utilitarian. Over the years, we often neglect the attention they deserve, replacing them with newer models.
In complete opposition to this situation, the philosophy of Berti Knives is to produce exceptional knives for various purposes. Founded in 1895 by David Berti, this small manufactory seems to be entirely detached from the trends that have taken place worldwide over the years. Its most important value is a commitment to tradition, which is still cultivated by the fourth generation of these skilled artisans.
The owners strongly reject the idea of mass production by unskilled labor, which they believe would lead to the loss of identity of the offered products. Therefore, their work philosophy places special emphasis on the employed staff. However, this does not mean that this Italian family is closed to innovations. They are very welcome, provided they do not conflict with the existing philosophy and can withstand years of quality testing.
Unlike competitors, the various stages of knife production are not handled by specialized sections of workers, but are often performed from start to finish by the same person. Thanks to this practice, each blade is completely unique.
The best quality materials are used in production — blades are made of steel, while handles are made among others from bison, buffalo, deer horns, as well as 'bosso' wood.
The brand owners suggest that although their products are intended for everyday use, they should be treated with proper respect, which guarantees their durability for many years. Each one is, after all, a small, unique work of art.
