A unique large regency bookcase - antique

Large Regency-style mahogany bookcase with an architectural pediment above a string-inlaid front panel featuring a flame mahogany frieze and a pair of astragal glazed doors encompassing 8 adjustable shelves, equipped with an original working lock and key, all surrounded by fluted columns. The protruding base has 2 inlaid drawers with string-inlay and original brass handles, and a pair of cabinet doors with a brass grille and pleated fabric, also with a fluted original working lock and key, flanked by columns, standing on turned legs. All with ebonized decoration throughout. This antique bookcase has been carefully restored, retaining its original finish which has been cleaned, renewed, and waxed, with the original color and patina, all in excellent domestic condition.
