This is a unique design born from the imagination of Giampaolo Barbiní. He brought the heritage of one of the oldest Venetian families, associated with Murano glassmaking, into it.

The Barbiní family is one of the most respected medieval lineages. These glassmakers established their presence on the island of Murano as early as the second half of the 16th century.
In 1658, during the Venetian Republic, by order of the Consiglio dei Dieci council, the Barbiní family was recorded in the Golden Book of Murano Society’s Notables, known as the register of the most distinguished glassmakers in Venice.
Additionally, their coat of arms was granted at that time – depicting two bearded sages looking at each other with a star between them on a blue background – which can still be admired at the Murano Glass Museum.
Murano glass from the island is renowned worldwide and is still produced there by successive generations of glassblowers. Once you see these beautiful objects, you will never forget their ephemeral and fleeting nature. This is the best proof that functional objects can also delight the eye and inspire awe.
