This is a unique design born from the imagination of Giampaolo Barbini. He brought to it the heritage of one of the oldest Venetian families, associated with Murano glassmaking.

The Barbini family is one of the most respected medieval dynasties. These glassmakers have been present on the island of Murano since the second half of the 16th century.
In 1658, during the Venetian Republic, by order of the Consiglio dei Dieci, the Barbini family was recorded in the Golden Book of Murano Society’s Notables, known as the register of the most distinguished glassmakers in Venice.
Additionally, a coat of arms was granted at that time – featuring two bearded wise men looking at each other with a star between them on a blue background – which can still be admired at the Murano Glass Museum.
Murano glass from the island of Murano is renowned worldwide and is still crafted there by successive generations of glassblowers.
