This ceramic object was designed in 2014 by Tullio Mazzotti, a representative of the fourth generation of Mazzotti ceramists.
The artistic heritage of the Mazzotti family is linked to the Futurist production of the 1930s, when the factory collaborated with representatives of the Futurist movement, and later in the 1950s with artists such as Lucio Fontana, Asger Jorn, Aligi Sassu, and Enrico Baj, when Albisola was the world capital of ceramics, and the Mazzotti factory its palace.
Tullio Mazzotti, the current owner of this magnificent factory, is a craftsman, artist, painter, designer, and "initiator of artistic spirits" in Albisola.
These precious ceramic works of art are created based on the artist's original designs, with the same passion, materials, and hand processes that have always been used in the Mazzotti factory.
Mazzotti ceramics from Albisola can be found in important museums in Italy and around the world.
