Description
Montegrappa, a symbol of Italian style, unique design, and creativity, in its latest edition pays tribute to outstanding individuals, geniuses recorded in the history of humanity. The first edition, limited, anniversary collection "Genio Creativo" is dedicated to Antonio Stradivari - the creator of exceptional musical instruments - violins. To this day, no one has matched the artist born in 1644 in Italian Cremona. No craftsman has managed to extract from an instrument as pure and deep a sound as that characterized by a Stradivarius - which undoubtedly contributes to the artist's genius in this field.
To this day, no one has matched this seventeenth-century luthier, nor has anyone broken the secret of the sound of the instruments that came from his hand. Stradivariuses are considered the greatest achievements in the history of violin making, serving as an unsurpassed model for craftsmen of later eras. Most of the greatest virtuosos in history have played on these instruments. They often bore names from famous owners, e.g., the 1717 violin called Salerno belonged to Henryk Wieniawski. Authentic Stradivari instruments are an extraordinary rarity today; there are currently only about 1000 in the world. Their prices, shaped by the art market, start at a million dollars and continue to rise.
Today's creators of the limited collection of Antonio Stradivari fountain pens have crafted instruments worthy of a virtuoso. Each pen, topped with a white gold nib, is adorned with yellow gold elements and the initials A.S. A unique signature that Master Stradivari placed on his creations. The collection's delicate, almost sensual design reflects the shape of a violin narrowing in the middle section.
The character of the cap clip is also intended to evoke the strings of the instrument. The cap is further adorned with an engraving of Montegrappa surrounded by a background of pure topaz - a symbol of the uniqueness of human genius. The true soul of the instrument, however, is the echo emanating from the wood used to build the violin. Its color and structure are reflected in the precious resin material covering the pen's body. The individual number of each instrument in the collection is placed on the cap's band.
The masters of Montegrappa, through their creativity and passion, have created a masterpiece, and its perfection has in turn become a source of further inspiration.
