The first is based on the idea that everyday objects should be aesthetic, but primarily functional, crafted in an elegant, simple style—with symmetrical lines, from durable materials, where every element of the final form is carefully considered.
Art Nouveau is the complete opposite of Thistle— decorated items that combine functionality and artistic craftsmanship, ornate Art Deco, and asymmetry.
Century, on the other hand, is expressive, feminine, and highly original due to its rich references to various eras in design history.
