Renowned Italian manufacturer Montegrappa, characterized by exclusivity and luxury, has been producing pens and fountain pens since 1912. They have also created a series dedicated to global icons and famous personalities. We are pleased to present to you the limited edition "Serie Montegrappa Icons" which has previously featured icons such as Muhammad Ali and Bruce Lee, and today it is Frank Sinatra's turn.
Sinatra is considered one of the greatest vocalists of all time. His performances are known for impeccable phrasing and timing. He left behind a vast musical legacy. Growing up in less than ideal conditions in Hoboken, New Jersey, motivated him to work hard and achieve success.
Designed by master craftsmen, the pattern is inspired by pinstripe suits that the singer liked to wear. The pen features blue accents, referencing Frank Sinatra's eye color. The ballpoint pen has orange elements, as the singer claimed it was his luckiest color. The clip is shaped like a microphone and adorned with turquoise. There are also finishes in silver and 18-karat gold, with the body made of black precious resin with handcrafted sterling silver embellishments. The color accents refer to the song "Ol' Blue Eyes".
Both the ballpoint pen and the fountain pen are issued in a limited edition of 1915 pieces. This number also marks Frank Sinatra's year of birth.
