This high-quality weapon blade is a ceremonial saber from the French brand BALP, supplied to the National School of Gendarmerie Officers (EOGN) and the United Kingdom. It is also used by honor guards of French-speaking countries in Africa.
Balp manufactory was established in 1830, in homage to the most beautiful French arms smithies. Its reputation and top-quality craftsmanship have spread throughout France and beyond. Subsequent generations have aimed to uphold the tradition and know-how.
Therefore, we are pleased and honored to present the BALP company, which remains a benchmark of quality. Their team’s experience, rooted in four generations of smithing tradition, guarantees true product knowledge.
