The Pilar Mirror stands out in any luxury interior design project.
Malabar Factory was established in 2012, launching a wide range of decorative Fado guitars and the elegant World Architects furniture collection. It has designed and released a total of 5 exceptional furniture and accessory series.
Malabar has made its mark at major international fairs such as 100% Design London, Maison & Objet, Decorex, Stockholm Furniture Fair, and Seoul International. These are among the top venues to showcase such work.
Malabar’s furniture production comes from the Porto area, in northern Portugal, a region with a long and strong tradition of handcrafted products.
The identity of this luxury brand is rooted in the architectural and artistic heritage of the past five centuries.
International experience and a pursuit of perfection are the details that guide such original companies. Emotion, handcrafted quality, and space-inspired design create an explosive mix of elegant furniture.
The use of various techniques in working with natural wood yields incredible effects, as seen in Malabar’s exceptional collections. An important aspect of their design is the combination of neutral and black colors.
Vivid and bold colors dominate, significantly diverging from classic and stereotypical furniture.
Besides wood, the manufactory uses brass, gold and silver leaf, and other high-quality raw materials.
The Portuguese soul is very colorful and fascinating, clearly reflected in their daring furniture designs.
The company’s name derives from Malabar black pepper. Along with other spices, it changed the course of trade history after the discovery of the Cape. The rarity of original spices motivated Portuguese merchants to chart a bold sea route.
This remains true today, as Malabar continues to define highly individual design boundaries and evokes strong emotions with its projects. They are very liberated, seductive, daring, and extremely exclusive.
And these are exactly the products we love and bring to the My Luxury Products platform.
