The Pilar Mirror stands out in any luxury interior design project.
Malabar Factory was established in 2012, launching a wide range of decorative Fado guitars and an elegant collection of furniture by World Architects. It has designed and released a total of 5 exceptional furniture and accessory series.
Malabar has showcased its work at major international fairs such as 100% Design London, Maison & Objet, Decorex, Stockholm Furniture Fair, and Seoul International. These are among the top venues for exposure.
Malabar’s furniture production originates from the Porto region in northern Portugal, an area with a long-standing tradition of handcrafted products.
The identity of this luxury brand is rooted in the national architectural and artistic heritage of the past five centuries.
International experience and a pursuit of perfection are the details that define such original companies. Emotion, handcrafted quality, and space-inspired design create an explosive mix of elegant furniture.
Various techniques for working with natural wood produce incredible effects, as seen in Malabar’s exceptional collections. An important aspect of their design is the combination of neutral and black colors.
Vivid and striking hues dominate, significantly diverging from traditional and stereotypical furniture styles.
In addition to wood, the manufactory uses brass, gold and silver leaf, and other high-quality raw materials.
The Portuguese soul is very colorful and fascinating, clearly reflected in bold furniture designs.
The company’s name derives from Malabar black pepper. Along with other spices, it changed the course of trade history with the discovery of the Cape. The value of original spices prompted Portuguese merchants to chart a daring sea route.
This remains true today, as Malabar continues to define highly individual design boundaries and evokes strong emotions with its projects. They are very liberated, seductive, bold, and extremely exclusive.
And these are exactly the kinds of products we love and bring to the My Luxury Products platform.
