Since its founding in 1995, S.V.I.S. Trade a.s. has become a well-known manufacturer and distributor of water and gas fittings, particularly connectors — brass, cast iron, and welding types.
At the end of 2019, they commissioned their first stylish wooden sink. Since then, their production has expanded within the company. More wooden and original sinks have been created, each named after a star in the Milky Way/Galaxy constellation. Therefore, you will find products like NOVA, TERRA, SIRIUS, or ORION.
In 2020, the company had a unique opportunity to collaborate with VŠB - TUO (Ostrava University of Technology), specifically with the Department of Building Materials and Building Diagnostics, resulting in another beautiful piece — a "concrete" sink.
Thanks to many years of experience in manufacturing moulds for cast iron fittings, the company was able to produce and refine technical details for moulds for concrete sinks. In 2021, they began custom production of concrete and wooden sinks. The trademark SVIS DESIGN was created. All of this is based in Vsetín.
