Description
Unique, handcrafted Murano glass sink made by Roberto Beltrami and his team. This majestic basin is created from an amber base that forms the sink, then combined with hot details called “mouthpieces”. The “Rostrato” technique is applied, layer by layer, like a glowing string along the entire outer diameter of the cup. When this glass ribbon is melted, it is then pulled, feather by feather, using tongs. A very precise and rapid process, made difficult by the size of the glass mass, which must be kept at a constant temperature to avoid thermal shock that could ruin the entire piece.
