Italian brand Cosi Tabellini Art of Pewter – over 60 years of tradition
The tradition of creating pewter products in Italy dates back to early medieval times. This craft was primarily practiced by residents of Lombardy. It was here, in 1954, that Bruno Cosi, together with his nephew Sergio Tabellini, opened his small artisan workshop. He initially focused on creating tableware from pewter, as well as various decorative items. The exceptional craftsmanship and an artist’s eye meant that the products made in this modest shop quickly gained popularity. Over the years, the small workshop transformed into a large manufacturing facility, and today the company is run by the descendants of Cosi and Tabellini – Sergio’s children. The company still retains a family character and continues to emphasize handcrafted production methods that border on craft and art. That’s why their unique decorations are appreciated worldwide.
