The tradition of creating pewter products in Italy dates back to early medieval times. This craft was primarily practiced by residents of Lombardy. It was here, in 1954, that Bruno Cosi, together with his nephew Sergio Tabellini, opened his small artisan workshop. He initially focused on making pewter tableware as well as various decorative items. The exceptional craftsmanship and the artist’s eye quickly made the products from this modest shop popular. Over the years, the small workshop transformed into a large manufacturing facility, and today the company is managed by the descendants of Cosi and Tabellini – Sergio’s children. The company still maintains a family character and continues to emphasize handcrafted production methods that border on craftsmanship and art.
