The brand "Mila Maurizi" represents the latest chapter in a craft history that dates back to the 1940s, when Luigi Maurizi, a highly talented master weaver, began producing stylish wicker handbags and baskets. Soon after, Maurizi started expanding his markets, increasing the number of collaborators and employees to such an extent that in the town of Mogliano, Maurizi contributed to the creation of a craft hub dedicated to wicker weaving.

The passion for exquisitely crafted items is also shared by Giuseppe's children: Mila and Maurizio, who in the early 1990s became the architects of the further entrepreneurial evolution of the family business.

With the arrival of Giuseppe (Peppe), Luigi's son, and thanks to his vision of the enormous potential of his father's workshop, new raw materials such as cane and bamboo were introduced, suitable for the production of garden furniture as well as exclusive furniture accessories. Today, the company has reached its third generation with Mila, a young entrepreneur who passionately and competently continues her family's long craft history, offering new interior design solutions and designer home accessories. However, the values remain the same as always: craftsmanship, quality, mastery in the art of weaving, still rigorously executed by skilled hands.

The decision to maintain "Made in Italy" production is an expression of the desire to elevate the skills and ancient craft traditions of this area. The transformation of the company compared to the workshop of the 1950s is significant, but it remains firmly anchored in the Marche region through solid roots.
