The first is based on the idea that utilitarian objects must be aesthetic but, above all, functional, crafted in an elegant, simple way - with symmetrical lines, from solid materials, where every element in the final form is carefully considered.
Art Noveau is the complete opposite of Thistle - ornate items are a combination of functionality and artistic craftsmanship, exquisite Art Nouveau, and asymmetry.
