The Tibaldi Sovereign Military Order of Malta (SMOM) Sterling Silver fountain pen is a precious work of art, perfectly crafted with a chainmail pattern reminiscent of medieval armor. The cap also features an elegant image of a Maltese knight on the back, above a discreet engraved panel allowing for personalization with the user's name or initials. The most well-known symbol associated with the Order, the Maltese cross, adorns the barrel. It is hand-painted by the skilled artist, Lorena Straffi. Finished with silver, it contrasts with the beautiful carnelian stone embellishing the ornament. The tie-shaped clip is reminiscent of the company's pens from the early last century. The clip design, ending with a small ring, makes it easy to place the pen in a case or jacket pocket. Laboratory tests have ensured that the clip is secured in a ring with a Clou de Paris pattern.
Thanks to extensive technical and laboratory research, the clip is mounted on the ring, not on the cap.
