MARIONI is a family story

The brand, now in its third generation, was founded in Florence in 1966 by the founder Paolo Marioni’s intuition. The initial artisanal character of the workshop quickly evolved, and since the 1980s, it has adopted its current corporate identity. Starting from ceramic materials, the company gradually expanded its lines of interior accessories, paying particular attention to color combinations, finishes, and decorations. Their objects are linked to creativity in details and manual craftsmanship.

After Paolo’s premature death in 1992, his son Simone took over the brand and led its development and expansion into international markets.
This was the time of the Cultura d’Arredo collection launch, which presents an extraordinary combination of ceramics and textiles and signals success through precise market positioning: Marioni offers its clients a range of exclusive products that reference the past but with a touch of charm, reflecting the uniqueness, authenticity, and originality of “made in Italy”.

The 2000s brought consolidation of distribution across all countries and the beginning of an organizational and managerial evolution that has led the company to face new challenges of digitalization, including the creation of its own archive of 3D models ready for AR/VR experiences.

In 2018, Vittoria, the founder’s eldest daughter, joined the company as head of communications and quality, marking further generational evolution. Thus, the company combines fifty years of experience with artisanal production and management concepts, offering the most sophisticated and demanding clients a fully Italian luxury experience.
