Although Art Nouveau was most popular in Europe, at the height of its development it spread worldwide. The fascination with this mysterious, contrast-rich style, filled with delicate, feminine patterns, was not only due to admiration for its form. Behind this style lay a design philosophy that encompasses entire lives, gaining a strongly aesthetic dimension — the Art Nouveau style often dominated homes.
