Montegrappa - commemorating the heroic defense of Monte Grappa by the Italian army during World War I, operates in Vicenza, the capital of Italian jewelry. Throughout its 100-year history, it pays equal attention to detail and employs the same artisans who are artists in their craft. This defines the beauty of jewelry. Therefore, Montegrappa is proud to introduce new engraving techniques and innovative hand-engraved models from the Privilege family - "Privilege Gioiello".
The Italian word "Gioiello" refers to a gem or jewelry. These terms are often used to describe the image created by new patterns, as seen in the octagonal Privilege pen. This original shape was partly inspired by the prestigious sense of beauty from the thirties, as well as the collection of pens in the Montegrappa museum. The elegantly designed Privilege shape has been refined with sterling silver and decorated with new motifs created using a special technique. Original engraving techniques have been applied to all silver elements of the product. The clip features the same finish as the cap, creating a camouflage effect. The collection includes four patterns: Arctic with icy reflections; Bark with a grainy tree bark texture; Peacock - decoration resembling the eye of a peacock feather; Wave - inspired by the surface of water disturbed by the wind. The Privilege Gioiello line features fountain pens and ballpoint pens in a limited edition of 500 pieces.
Privilege Gioiello Peacock, engraved spirals resembling the majestic eye of a peacock tail, showcasing the "deep engraving" technique - without joints. The Privilege Montegrappa Gioiello Peacock Silver pen is one of the few made with this technique in sterling silver. Initially inspired by a model from 1930, which was part of the Montegrappa Privilege collection, the pen was a pioneer of new engraving techniques, enhanced with silver and decorated with motifs—using special techniques to display carved patterns. This technique had never been used before. Skilled artisans at Montegrappa can produce only two or three pens per day. The Privilege Gioiello Peacock Silver Pen is available in various nib sizes with 18k gold.
Privilege Montegrappa Gioiello Peacock pens can be personalized (with a name, initials, or date), transforming this valuable writing instrument into an even more personal object—ideal for personal use or as a gift for a loved one.
