Description
Amazing furniture for home or outdoor use – made from durable materials.
Kenneth Cobonpue is a multiple award-winning designer and manufacturer of beautiful furniture from Cebu in the Philippines. His journey into design began in 1987, studying industrial design at Pratt Institute in New York. During his studies, he completed leather and woodworking workshops in Florence, Italy. He then studied furniture marketing and production at Export-Akademie Baden-Württemberg in Reutlingen, Germany. All of this was part of private and government scholarship programs. Kenneth returned to Cebu in 1996 to manage the Interior Crafts of the Islands, Inc., a furniture design and manufacturing company founded by his mother Betty Cobonpue in 1972. Discovering that avant-garde design could have a new face using natural fibers and materials, Kenneth created functional art pieces that offer an alternative to Western definitions of modern design. Today, KENNETH COBONPUE is renowned worldwide for its exceptional designs and a rich client portfolio, including Hollywood stars and members of royal families.
