Italian Brand Cosi Tabellini Art of Pewter – over 60 years of tradition
The tradition of creating pewter products in Italy dates back to the early Middle Ages. This craft was primarily practiced by the inhabitants of Lombardy. It was here, in 1954, that Bruno Cosi, together with his nephew Sergio Tabellini, opened his small artisan workshop. He initially focused on creating pewter tableware as well as various decorative items. The exceptional craftsmanship and the artist’s eye ensured that the products from this modest shop quickly gained popularity. Over the years, the small workshop transformed into a large manufacturing facility, and today the company is managed by the descendants of Cosi and Tabellini – Sergio’s children. The company still retains a family character and continues to emphasize handcrafted production methods that border on craftsmanship and art.
