Lowry's Market Scene, North Town, 1939. This 1000-piece puzzle is suitable for adults and children over 13 years old. Not suitable for children under 3 years due to small parts. Finished size of the puzzle 735 x 510 mm / 29 x 20 inches. Includes an A4 poster for informational purposes.

This image is an example of one of L.S. Lowry's famous crowd scenes. The color palette is exceptionally bright and airy for the artist, with pink and gold buildings enhancing the atmosphere. Lowry said about this painting: “Honestly, I didn't think much about people… They were part of a private beauty that haunted me!” In his numerous depictions of northwestern England, Lowry makes industrial scenes his own, showing how industry affected the landscape and how residents of urban areas lived daily. Marches, evictions, accidents, illnesses, relaxing in the park or at a fair, going to work, leaving school, and attending a football match – these are all themes of Lowry's brush or pencil. His works are created in a unique, poetic style—yet not sentimental, captivating, sometimes unsettling, but never judgmental.
