Montegrappa is honored to showcase new engraving techniques and innovative hand-engraved models from the Privilege family - "Privilege Gioiello".  Speaking of the city of Vicenza, the capital of Italian jewelry, Montegrappa comes to mind, which in its 100-year history pays the same attention to detail and employs the same craftsmen who are artists in their craft. This defines the beauty of jewelry.

The Italian word "Gioiello" refers to a jewel or jewelry. These terms will often be used to describe the image created by new patterns, as with the octagonal Privilege pen. This original form was partly inspired by the prestigious sense of beauty of the 1930s, as well as the collection of pens in the Montegrappa museum. The naturally elegant shape of the Privilege has been enhanced with sterling silver and decorated with new motifs created using a special technique. Original engraving techniques have been applied to all silver elements of the product. The clip has the same finish as the cap, creating a camouflage effect. The collection includes four designs: Arctic with icy reflections; Bark with a grainy tree bark texture; Peacock - decoration reminiscent of peacock tail eyes; Wave - designed like a water surface stirred by the wind. The Privilege Gioiello line features fountain pens and rollerball pens in a limited quantity of 500 pieces.

Privilege Gioiello Bark Silver Fountain Pen Limited Edition - the dominant accent on the surface of the barrel is the longitudinally grooved lines showcasing the "deep engraving" technique - without joints. The Privilege Montegrappa Gioiello Bark Silver pen is one of the few made using this sterling silver technique. Initially inspired by a 1930 model, which was part of the Montegrappa Privilege collection, the pen heralded new engraving techniques and was enhanced with silver and adorned with motifs – using special techniques presenting grooved patterns. This technique had never been used before. Each day, Montegrappa's skilled craftsmen can produce only two or three pens.  Privilege Gioiello Bark Silver Pens are available in various 18k gold nib sizes.
