The inspiration for the "Extra" series pens was a model by Montegrappa from the 1930s. The collection was created to satisfy those who love precious items with classic shapes and original colors and patterns.
Montegrappa, the first Italian manufacturer of fountain pens, pays homage to the thirties by enriching the Extra 1930 collection with a new and exclusive version: Bamboo Black.
The Extra 1930 Bamboo Black is a new color variant of the well-known classic collection. The "Extra 1930" series perfectly combines technological innovation with classic aesthetics and appearance. The shades of the bodies made from celluloid, in brown and marbled green, were inspired by models from the Montegrappa Museum. This series includes fountain pens and ballpoint pens decorated with sterling silver fittings, featuring 18-karat gold nibs and an ebonite reservoir, available only in brown. The ballpoint pen has a body and cap made from high-quality black plastic with striking green highlights. The cap is topped with the company's logo, which is 1912 in a laurel wreath. The clip and rings are made of sterling silver. The clip is finished with the brand's characteristic ball, which makes it easier to attach. The ring at the base of the cap is decorated with Greek characters. The pen features an extremely efficient, velvety-writing ink cartridge with a traditional piston filling system. It is presented in a ash wood box with a replica of the original year's ink bottle, with an ebonite cap.
The "Extra 1930" fountain pen is a limited edition of 1912 pieces. Impeccable individuality is rewarded. The pen writes excellently, and the large 18-karat gold nib provides great comfort.
