The tradition of creating pewterware in Italy dates back to early medieval times. This craft was primarily practiced by the inhabitants of Lombardy. And it was here, in 1954, that Bruno Cosi, together with his nephew Sergio Tabellini, opened his small artisan workshop. He initially focused on creating pewter tableware as well as various decorative items. The exceptional craftsmanship and the artist’s eye ensured that the products from this modest shop quickly gained popularity. Over the years, the small workshop transformed into a large manufacturing facility, and today, the company is managed by the descendants of Cosi and Tabellini – Sergio’s children. The company still retains its family character and continues to emphasize handcrafted production methods that blend craftsmanship and art.
