The Extra 1930 pen is designed for those who are ready to dedicate their time and have not forsaken traditional solutions used in luxury products. Montegrappa, the first Italian manufacturer of fountain pens, pays homage to the thirties by enriching the Extra 1930 collection with a new and exclusive version, Bamboo Black. The inspiration for the "Extra" series pens was a model from Montegrappa from the 1930s. The series was created to satisfy those who love precious items with classic shapes and original colors and patterns.
Extra 1930 Bamboo Black is a new color option for the well-known classic collection. The "Extra 1930" series perfectly combines technological innovation with classic aesthetics and appearance. The shades of the bodies made from celluloid, in brown and marbled green, were inspired by models from the Montegrappa Museum. This series includes fountain and ballpoint pens with sterling silver decorations, 18-karat gold nibs, and an ebonite reservoir, available only in brown. The ballpoint pen features a body and cap made from high-quality plastic in a deep black color with distinctive green flashes. The cap is topped with the company's logo, which is 1912 in a laurel wreath. The clip and rings are made of sterling silver. The clip is finished with a characteristic ball, typical for the brand, facilitating attachment. The ring at the base of the cap is decorated with Greek characters. The pen has an extremely efficient, velvety-writing ink cartridge in black, with a traditional piston filling system. The pen is housed in an ash wood box with an included replica of the original year's ink bottle, with an ebonite cap.
The "Extra 1930" fountain pen is a limited edition of 1912 pieces. Impeccable individuality is rewarded. The pen writes excellently, and the large 18-karat gold nib provides great comfort.
