The tradition of creating pewterware in Italy dates back to early medieval times. This craft was primarily practiced by residents of Lombardy. And it was here, in 1954, that Bruno Cosi, together with his nephew Sergio Tabellini, opened his small artisan workshop. He initially focused on producing pewter tableware, as well as various decorative items. The exceptional craftsmanship and an artist’s eye meant that the products from this modest shop quickly gained popularity. Over the years, the small workshop transformed into a large manufacturing company, and today it is managed by the descendants of Cosi and Tabellini – Sergio’s children. The company still retains its family character. And it continues to emphasize handcrafted production methods that border between craftsmanship and art. That’s why their unique decorations are appreciated worldwide.
