We are delighted to present to you the exceptionally luxurious brand Ongaro & Fuga, founded in 1954 by Franco Fuga and his wife Tullia Ongaro. The collaboration of these two highly creative individuals has resulted in a distinctive and fresh perspective on art. They proudly emphasize that Ongaro & Fuga is rooted in centuries-old tradition, which revives the magic and incredible Venetian mirrors.
Their talent was inherited by their son Julian, who continues the family traditions. Through collaboration with international artists and designers, he creates a bridge to the future. This is a great nod to family and multi-generational craftsmanship. Julian believes that every cloud or colorful Italian facade reflecting in the lagoon waters provides lively material for new projects. Many of these majestic mirrors are faithful reproductions of historic pieces. Ongaro & Fuga is part of the Consorzio Promovetro di Murano – an important consortium that is a member of Confartigianato Venezia and Confindustria Venezia. For over twenty years, they have been continuously working to strengthen the image of artistic glass to preserve and defend the thousand-year-old Murano glass art. This is an extremely important initiative that does a lot of good for cultural heritage. Ongaro & Fuga are proud of their Promovetro certification for producing their mirrors on Murano.

It is a truly extraordinary process. The reflection of this beauty is the result of very long work—crafted by hands, heart, and soul. For this reason, Ongaro & Fuga’s exquisite mirrors come at a premium. The effort involved often exceeds 100 hours and can include thousands of decorative elements. This is genuine luxury and a testament to how strong European family workshops are. For centuries, artisans have driven the evolution of the premium industry, shaping the final appearance of the product with their own hands. Everything begins with a sketch on paper. Then, the glass is gradually shaped to fit the design. Using very delicate and smooth diamond grinding stones, step by step refining sharp edges and uneven surfaces. And so, from a brilliant idea, an exclusive harmony emerges that combines tradition with modernity! It’s magic—these mirrors, if desired, will become the focal point of your interior.
