Today, many imitate them, dedicated to lovers and connoisseurs of functional masterpieces. Absolutely all products are the result of the creator's extensive experience and craftsmanship. The story begins when the owner creates her first decorations on kitchen countertops, as well as asymmetrical sculptures. And flowing through her veins is the blood of ancestors who were skilled artisans. For many generations, they were involved in tailoring, ironwork, and furniture manufacturing in a shoe factory. Therefore, the entire policy of Ceramiche Valchida is based on family tradition, which still continues in these exclusive stone countertops.
The primary material used in production is lava stone, which forms from the flowing and solidifying magma from Mount Etna. It can be said that it is an eternal raw material and as fascinating as all of Sicily. The creation process begins with the delivery of whole lava blocks, which are then processed and shaped according to customer wishes. They are then subjected to a ceramicization process at 950 degrees Celsius. This makes them highly resistant to stains, scratches, acids, water, frost, and sunlight. This is especially important for outdoor use. Upon request, the manufactory customizes dimensions, patterns, and shapes of the countertops according to client specifications. The products are recommended to be supported with legs, frames, and bases made of metal, iron, or cast iron.
Exclusive stone and ceramic countertops are hand-painted, with attention to every detail. Upon request, the brand creates patterns tailored to individual customer projects.
