This high-quality white weapon is a ceremonial saber from the French brand BALP, used at the École Militaire Interarmes (EMIA) in Coëquidan. It is also used by honor guards in French-speaking African countries.
The Balp brand was established in 1830, in reference to the most beautiful French weapon forges. Its reputation and top-quality craftsmanship have spread throughout France and beyond. Subsequent generations aimed to uphold the tradition and know-how.
Therefore, we have the pleasure and honor to present the BALP brand, which remains a benchmark for quality. Their team’s experience, rooted in four generations of forge tradition, guarantees true product knowledge.
