This is the new collection by Montegrappa. The mysterious name conceals a single word in two languages. It is a combination of the English version of the word “my” – MY, and its Italian equivalent – MIA. MY+MIA =MIYA. The collection’s name suggests that its owner possesses a “personal,” very “intimate” writing jewel. MIYA is available in three celluloid colors: red, yellow, and turquoise. Celluloid is a material that requires a lengthy maturation process, followed by multiple treatments that give it an exclusive character. All these processes make celluloid very delicate and pleasant to the touch, as well as giving it a durable, slightly shimmering color.
We would like to introduce you to an innovative slightly convex shape at the junction of the cap and the barrel. The barrel and cap are made of celluloid, while the details are crafted from sterling silver. The cap is decorated with a Greek pattern characteristic of Montegrappa, representing perfect symmetry. The clip features a distinctive Montegrappa ball, which perfectly complements the shape of the collection. The fountain pen is equipped with a 18-karat gold nib, a new ebonite feed, and a double filling system: converter or ink cartridges.
