The Kīlauea armchair is inspired by the currently active shield volcano in Hawaii, the most active of the five volcanoes that together form the Hawaiian Islands. The flow of lava, when heading towards the ocean, is an incredible sight to see, creating unique landscapes of black, beautiful textures. Inspired by the phenomenal phenomenon of Porus Studio, the Kilauea chair was designed. The structure of a modern mid-century armchair is upholstered in black genuine leather, carefully applied to create a lava effect on the backrest. The Kīlauea armchair is a stylish and elegant upholstery piece, perfectly suited to any contemporary home decor.
