MARIONI is a family story
The company, now in its third generation, was founded in Florence in 1966 by the founder Paolo Marioni’s intuition. The initial artisanal nature of the workshop quickly evolved, and since the 1980s, it has taken on its current corporate character. Starting from ceramic materials, the company gradually expanded its interior accessories lines, paying special attention to color combinations, finishes, and decorations. Their objects are linked to creativity in details and manual craftsmanship.
After Paolo’s premature death in 1992, his son Simone took over the company and led its development and expansion into international markets.
This was the time of the Cultura d’Arredo collection launch, which showcases an extraordinary combination of ceramic/fabric and heralds success through precise market positioning: Marioni offers its clients a range of luxurious products that evoke the past but with a touch of charm, reflecting the uniqueness, authenticity, and originality of “made in Italy”.
The 2000s brought consolidation of distribution across all countries and the beginning of an organizational and managerial evolution that has positioned the brand to face new digital challenges, including the creation of its own archive of 3D models ready for AR/VR reality.
In 2018, Vittoria, the founder’s eldest daughter, joined the company as head of communications and quality to mark further generational evolution. In this way, the brand continues to build on fifty years of experience, where artisanal production and management concepts are shared with the most refined and demanding clients seeking entirely Italian luxury.
