MARIONI is a family story
The company, now in its third generation, was founded in Florence in 1966 by the founder Paolo Marioni's intuition. The initial artisanal nature of the workshop quickly evolved, and since the 1980s, it has taken on its current corporate character. Starting from ceramic materials, the company gradually developed interior accessories lines, paying close attention to color combinations, finishes, and decorations. Their objects are associated with creativity in details and manual craftsmanship.
After Paolo's premature death in 1992, his son Simone took over the brand and led its development and expansion into international markets.
It was during this time that the Cultura d’Arredo collection was launched, showcasing an extraordinary combination of ceramic and fabric, which heralded success through precise market positioning: Marioni offers its clients a range of exclusive products referencing the past, but with a touch of charm, reflecting the uniqueness, authenticity, and originality of “made in Italy”.
The 2000s brought consolidation of distribution worldwide and the beginning of an organizational and managerial evolution, leading the company to face new challenges of digitization, including the creation of its own archive of 3D models ready for AR/VR reality.
In 2018, Vittoria, the eldest daughter, joined the company as head of communications and quality, marking further generational evolution. In this way, the brand reaches the present with fifty years of experience, where artisanal production and management concepts are shared with the most sophisticated and demanding clients seeking entirely Italian luxury.
