Description
In the modern Lignum side table, a distinctive organic identity stands out, utilizing elemental form, polished metal, and hypnotic stone.
The delicate, almost sculptural shape of the contemporary Lignum table is inspired by the supertrees at Gardens by the Bay in Singapore, a breathtaking feat of 21st-century architecture and landscape design. In the modern Lignum side table, brushed brass texture and marble top combine metals and minerals, creating a refreshing atmosphere and lush ambiance in a contemporary living space.
Malabar Factory was established in 2012, alongside the launch of a wide range of decorative Fado guitars and the elegant World Architects furniture collection. It has designed and released a total of 5 exceptional furniture and accessory series.
Malabar has made its mark at major international fairs such as 100% Design London, Maison & Objet, Decorex, Stockholm Furniture Fair, and Seoul International. These are some of the top venues for showcasing.
Malabar’s furniture production originates from the Porto area, in northern Portugal, a region with a long and strong tradition of handcrafted products.
The identity of this unique brand is rooted in the architectural and artistic heritage of the past five centuries.
International experience and a pursuit of perfection are the details that define such original companies. Emotions, handcrafted craftsmanship, and space-inspired design create an explosive mix of luxurious furniture.
The various techniques used to craft natural wood products yield incredible effects, as seen in Malabar’s exceptional collections. An important aspect of their design is the combination of neutral and black colors.
Vivid and bold hues dominate, significantly diverging from classic and stereotypical furniture.
Besides wood, the brand uses brass, gold and silver leaf, and other high-quality raw materials.
The Portuguese soul is very colorful and fascinating, clearly reflected in daring furniture designs.
The company’s name comes from the black pepper Malabar. Along with other spices, it changed the course of trade history with the discovery of the Cape. The value of original spices prompted Portuguese merchants to chart a bold sea route.
This remains true today, as Malabar continues to define highly individual design boundaries and evokes strong emotions with its projects. They are very liberated, seductive, daring, and extremely exclusive.
And these are the kinds of products we love and introduce on the My Luxury Products platform.
