Description
Plants of Mediterranean origin have become characteristic elements used to create baroque ornaments in architecture and artifacts. Thanks to detailed baroque sculptures on the modern Figen coffee table, which casts intense shadows, its dramatic charm is undeniable.
The richly decorated legs of the contemporary Figen table are handcrafted by artisans from wood, finished with black lacquer and high-gloss varnish. The construction is made from solid wood with a semi-transparent lacquer on silver leaf. If you are looking for pieces from timeless contemporary furniture, this will be an excellent choice for any modern living room.
Malabar Factory was established in 2012, alongside the launch of a wide range of decorative Fado guitars and the stylish World Architects furniture collection. It has designed and released a total of 5 exceptional furniture and accessory collections.
Malabar has left its mark at the most prestigious international fairs such as 100% Design London, Maison & Objet, Decorex, Stockholm Furniture Fair, and Seoul International. These are among the top venues to showcase your work.
Malabar furniture production comes from the Porto area, in northern Portugal, a region with a long and strong tradition of handcrafted products.
The identity of this luxury brand is based on the architectural and artistic heritage of the past five centuries.
International experience and a pursuit of perfection are the details that set such original companies apart. Emotions, handcrafted execution, and space-inspired design create an explosive mix of luxurious furniture.
Various techniques in producing products from natural wood yield incredible effects, as seen in Malabar’s exceptional collections. An important aspect of design is the combination of neutral and black colors.
Vivid and bold colors dominate, significantly diverging from classic and stereotypical furniture.
Besides wood, the manufacturer uses brass, gold and silver leaf, as well as other high-quality raw materials.
The Portuguese soul is very colorful and fascinating, clearly reflected in the daring furniture designs.
The company's name itself derives from Malabar black pepper. Along with other spices, it changed the course of trade history with the discovery of the Cape. The value of original spices prompted Portuguese merchants to chart a bold sea route.
Even today, Malabar sets very individual boundaries in design and evokes strong emotions with its projects. They are very liberated, seductive, daring, and extremely exclusive.
And these are the products we love and introduce on the My Luxury Products platform.
