How it all started...

The history of SEBASTIANSTURM - Innovative Accessories begins in 2012. The initial thought - "I will make wood portable!" was part of Sebastian Sturm's master's thesis in engineering studies. He thus engages in designing and producing protective covers and cases for notebooks and mobile phones, which should ultimately be made from natural wood.

For this reason, in close collaboration with a veneer manufacturer, he developed a new veneering technology, making it possible to produce wood that is not only durable but also flexible and pliable in three dimensions. What initially seemed like a difficult challenge quickly proved promising.

As this development process proved successful, more and more people became enthusiastic about his innovative concept. They were so inspired and enthusiastic about the new veneer that he spent evenings creating designs for bag shapes, patterns, and material combinations.

Due to the overwhelming feedback on the first samples, Sebastian Sturm was certain that this idea could have potential and decided to conquer the fashion world.

From the beginning, he was sure he wanted to produce only luxury products with the highest quality standards. Therefore, only environmentally friendly tanned leather was used. He also places great importance on the quality of workmanship when it comes to further processing. He found this art in a traditional company in southern Germany. It is produced to high social standards. The result of these efforts is that each bag is a unique piece crafted by master craftsmen!
