How did it all start ...

The history of SEBASTIANSTURM - Innovative Accessories begins in 2012. The initial idea — “I will make wood portable!” — was part of Sebastian Sturm’s engineering thesis. He specializes in designing and producing protective covers and cases for notebooks and mobile phones, which are ultimately made from natural wood.

For this reason, in close cooperation with a veneer manufacturer, he developed a new veneering technology that made it possible not only to produce durable wood but also flexible and three-dimensionally moldable wood. What initially seemed like a challenging task quickly proved to be promising.

As this development process was successful, more and more people enthusiastically embraced his innovative concept. They were so inspired and excited about the new veneer that in the evenings he would create designs for bag shapes, patterns, and material combinations.

Due to overwhelming feedback on the first samples, Sebastian Sturm was convinced that this idea could have potential and decided to conquer the fashion world.

From the beginning, he was determined to produce only prestigious products of the highest quality standards. Therefore, only environmentally friendly tanned leather was used. He also places great importance on craftsmanship quality during further processing. He found this craft in a traditional company in southern Germany. It is produced under high social standards. The result of these efforts is that each bag is a one-of-a-kind masterpiece crafted by master artisans!
