The first is based on the idea that everyday objects should be aesthetic, primarily functional, crafted in an elegant, simple style—with symmetrical lines, from solid materials, where every element is carefully considered in the final form.
Art Noveau is the complete opposite of Thistle—decorative items that combine functionality with artistic craftsmanship, elaborate Art Nouveau style, and asymmetry.
