MARIONI is a family story

The brand, now in its third generation, was founded in Florence in 1966 by the founder Paolo Marioni's intuition. The initial artisanal nature of the workshop quickly evolved, and since the 1980s, it has adopted its current corporate character. Starting with ceramic materials, the product lines for interior furnishings gradually expanded, paying particular attention to color combinations, finishes, and decorations. Their objects are characterized by creative details and manual craftsmanship.

After Paolo's premature death in 1992, his son Simone took over the company and led its development and expansion into international markets.
This was the time of the launch of the Cultura d’Arredo collection, which presents an extraordinary combination of ceramics and textiles and promises success through precise market positioning: Marioni offers its customers a range of elegant products inspired by the past, but with a touch of charm, reflecting the uniqueness, authenticity, and originality of “made in Italy”.

The 2000s brought consolidation of distribution worldwide and the beginning of an organizational and managerial evolution that led the company to face new challenges of digitization, culminating in the creation of its own archive of 3D models ready for AR/VR reality.

In 2018, Vittoria, the eldest daughter, joined the company as head of communication and quality to confirm further generational evolution. In this way, the company reaches the present with fifty years of experience, where artisanal production and management concepts are offered to the most refined and demanding clients seeking entirely Italian luxury.
