MARIONI is a family story
The brand, now in its third generation, was founded in Florence in 1966 by the founder Paolo Marioni's intuition. The initial artisanal nature of the workshop quickly evolved and since the 1980s has adopted its current corporate character. Starting with ceramic materials, the product lines for interior furnishings have gradually expanded, paying special attention to color combinations, finishes, and decorations. Their objects are associated with creativity in details and manual craftsmanship.
After Paolo's premature death in 1992, his son Simone took over the company and led its development and expansion into international markets.
This was the time of the Cultura d’Arredo collection launch, which presents an extraordinary combination of ceramics and fabric and heralds success through precise market positioning: Marioni offers its customers a range of elegant products that reference the past but with a touch of charm, reflecting the uniqueness, authenticity, and originality of “made in Italy”.
The 2000s brought consolidation of distribution across all countries and the beginning of an organizational and managerial evolution that has enabled the company to face new digital challenges, culminating in the creation of its own archive of 3D models ready for AR/VR reality.
In 2018, Vittoria, the eldest daughter, joined the company as head of communications and quality, to attest to further generational evolution. In this way, the company reaches the present with a wealth of fifty years of experience, where artisanal production and management concepts are shared with the most sophisticated and demanding clients seeking entirely Italian luxury.
