MARIONI is a family story
The brand, now in its third generation, was founded in Florence in 1966 by the founder Paolo Marioni's intuition. The initial artisanal character of the workshop quickly evolved, and since the 1980s, it has taken on its current corporate form. Starting with ceramic materials, the product lines for interior furnishings were gradually developed, paying particular attention to color combinations, finishes, and decorations. Their objects are associated with creativity in details and manual craftsmanship.
After Paolo's premature death in 1992, his son Simone took over the company and led its development and expansion into international markets.
It was during this time that the Cultura d’Arredo collection was launched, showcasing an extraordinary combination of ceramics and textiles, which heralded success through precise market positioning: Marioni offers its clients a range of elegant products that reference the past but with a touch of charm, reflecting the uniqueness, authenticity, and originality of “made in Italy”.
The 2000s brought consolidation of distribution across all countries and the beginning of an organizational and managerial evolution, leading the company to face new digitalization challenges, including the creation of its own archive of 3D models ready for AR/VR reality.
In 2018, Vittoria, the eldest daughter, joined the company as head of communication and quality to confirm ongoing generational evolution. In this way, the company combines fifty years of experience with artisanal production and management concepts, offering the most refined and demanding clients a fully Italian luxury experience.
