Goti Terrecotte can boast over fifty years of experience born from the strong passions of its owner Giancarlo. Mr. Giancarlo began his adventure as a ceramic decorator apprentice, later, after marrying Ms. Fiorella Goti, he opened a small artisan workshop in Sesto Fiorentino. The expansion took place within a few years, and in 1973, he achieved progress and established his brand in Calenzano, a few kilometers from Florence, in Tuscany. The knowledge Giancarlo gained over the years through experimenting with materials and production techniques:

- Artistic casting of ceramic art, replacing the traditional casting process

- Use of clay from the Impruneta quarries for the production of frost-resistant cookware made from clay with a unique family recipe, mixed and kneaded with water to create professional or outdoor food ovens with high certified resistance and quality of fireproof terracotta, fired at 1040 °C.

A well-equipped laboratory allows for the handcrafted and personalized creation of jars, tiles, statues, pots, vases, sinks, chimneys, bricks on order, bas-reliefs, and various decorative items. The production department dedicated to wood-fired ovens has enabled Goti Terrecotte to be recognized internationally as a benchmark in the market of fireproof terracotta wood-fired ovens for professional, domestic, and garden use.

The product range, from classic to modern furniture, includes over 1000 items in the catalog. Additionally, the company is prepared to produce items based on drawings or orders. "90% of the production goes to the 'garden of our clients'," says Giancarlo, owner of Goti Terrecotte d'Autore.

Artifacts are left to cook for 5 days in a dedicated oven at a temperature of 1040 °C. Only careful drying before firing prevents cracking during firing and ensures high mechanical resistance. The clay present in Impruneta gives the finished product a unique color and extraordinary frost resistance.

For this reason, Goti Terrecotte seeks out and acquires prestigious Impruneta clay: an unparalleled raw material with remarkable properties, primarily “frost resistance,” meaning it does not absorb water, thus withstands even the lowest temperatures and lasts almost forever. Of course, the production process is also refined and more complex, with longer times: Impruneta clay is processed through molding, has very slow drying times, and is fired at extremely high temperatures.
