Art Nouveau drew inspiration even from Baroque and Renaissance styles. That’s why in collections of Art Nouveau candelabras, we also find decorations featuring angels and cherubs. They are part of the limited series Cosi Tabellini – an Italian, exclusive manufactory that brings artistic spirit from various artistic periods into a new era.
Although Art Nouveau was most popular in Europe, at the height of its development, it spread worldwide. The fascination with this mysterious, contrasting style, rich in subtle, feminine patterns, was not only due to admiration for its form. Behind this form lay a design philosophy that encompasses entire lives, which take on a strongly aesthetic dimension – the Art Nouveau style often dominated homes. They were built in the Art Nouveau style, furnished accordingly, and even the smallest decorative element was inspired by natural structures cherished by artists of the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries.
