Secession Inspirations
Figurines of women were one of the most common anthropomorphic motifs during the Secession period. Today, they are utilized by the unique Italian manufactory Cosi Tabellini. They craft functional art objects for lovers of subtle and elegant design.
Art Nouveau, although most popular in Europe, spread globally at the height of its development. The fascination with its mysterious, contrasting style, rich in delicate, feminine patterns, stemmed not only from admiration of form. Behind this style lay a design philosophy that encompasses entire lives, which gains a strongly aesthetic dimension — the Secession style often dominated homes. They were built in the Art Nouveau style, furnished accordingly, and even the smallest decorative element was inspired by natural structures cherished by artists of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
