Italian chest of drawers made of wood - Interiors Italia

What do you think is the Provence style? We firmly believe that products in this style should primarily be handcrafted. And that is exactly the Italian factory we want to introduce to you.

Interiors Italia has excellent expertise in this area and creates fascinating furniture in the unique Provence style.

So, why Italian Provençal furniture?

Since 1964, Interiors Italia has been producing exclusive furnishings for elegant interiors using traditional manufacturing techniques. Only in this way can Italian sculptors and carpenters convey the full beauty of natural wood.

As we mentioned earlier, these Italian functional art pieces are largely handmade. Drawers, moldings, and sculptures are main handmade semi-finished products.

The entire effort of the manufactory is to capture the essence and design of previous eras. And we honestly tell you, they really succeed! Decades of practice produce incredible results.

There are no substitutes here, nor cheap raw materials; everything is Made in Italy from Città di Castello. Each Provençal piece is hand-polished and waxed with natural waxes.

Only such a long and patient process can give the authentic look and feel of antique furniture.

Provençal furniture – what finishes does the Italian manufactory offer?

Interiors Italia produces its products in five different options.

Antiqua – finish in essence tone, aged or not, in cherry, walnut, or chestnut colors.

Arles – single-color lacquered finish with oak based on cherry wood

Provence – painted with a brush on a plaster base, aged

Decorata – painted with a brush on a plaster base with hand-made decorations, aged

Old simplicity – painted with a brush on a plaster base, aged in various shades

These few options allow you to choose the right Provençal furniture to perfectly match your interior. The manufactory produces fully customizable items in terms of size, materials, colors, and patinas.

Together, we can tailor a product to your needs and expectations.

Provençal furniture – warmth and design

For us, these beautiful pieces are mainly associated with warm and romantic colors like white, beige, pastel, and brown. With majestic carved details that harmonize with the furniture fronts.

Decorated with fittings that subtly integrate into the waxed surfaces. Filled with floral patterns that strongly evoke the Provençal style.

Finally, pure white, carefully aged with traditional craftsmanship methods that have been perfected in Italy for centuries!

Wrought interior elements with antique accessories will beautifully complement and create a majestic whole.

Of course, Provençal furniture must be paired with floors and walls. Usually, these are whitewashed simple walls, with some old fragments or aged paneling.

The flooring is a nod to stone, heavy tiles, or aged wood. In short, it must be substantial and rich to balance the lightness of Provençal furniture.

Small accessories will definitively shape our luxurious interiors and allow you to enjoy true Provence!

We wish you this along with the Interiors Italia brand.
